Vi and ViEmu for .NET Coding
In the technology world, trends emerge and dissipate, but some things just hang around after years and years. Vi is one of them. The power of Vi has kept it alive, and the community is still growing. The power can be unleashed in the Visual Studio emulator called ViEmu. If you care about productivity, and learning a timeless tool, this presentation is for you.
After the talk we'll have some open discussion and/or demos of other favorite productivity tools.
Aaron Feng
Aaron Feng is a Principal Software Engineer at financial risk
management company, Algorithmics. He is an experienced .NET
developer, and has worked on a highly available and robust
financial messaging system using Clojure and Ruby. He is currently
working on an ASP.NET MVC application. He enjoys
experimenting with new technology and studying functional programming
languages in his spare time. He also organizes the Philadelphia
functional programming group, Philly Lambda, and PhillyAWS.
